This is the first year that I really bothered about christmas and getting presents, could be because I really hated last year’s christmas, or lack thereof so I subconsciously figured I wanted to put more effort in.. I really know what it means when people say it’s better to give than to receive.
This christmas period I’ve spent time with all parts of my family: my baby cousins in KL, my same-age cousins for lunch and shopping on christmas eve and my own family with my grandma today for lunch; and later my sis her boyfriend and his brother! So much family time, but I know that it’s only making me feel even fuzzier inside.
that’s what christmas is really about: love.. The gift that Jesus brought with him when he was born many years ago on this very day!
